Glory Baptist Church has been part of the Paris community for over a century, serving families in Glory, Slabtown, Taylortown, and beyond. What makes our church especially meaningful is the generations who have called it home—families who have worshiped here for decades, now sitting side-by-side with their children and grandchildren each Sunday and Wednesday.
Our building may be over 100 years old, but the heart of our church is as active as ever. We are a close-knit, welcoming congregation where people know one another, support one another, and grow together in faith.
Under the leadership of Pastor Glenn, our focus is simple and steady: teaching from the Bible and living out the message of Jesus Christ in our daily lives.
That commitment extends beyond Sunday mornings. Throughout the year, we host community events like our Harvest Fest, Valentine Banquet, Potlucks, and special celebrations like this year’s 250th Fourth of July gathering—creating opportunities for fellowship, connection, and outreach to our neighbors.
Whether you’re new to the area, searching for a church home, or just visiting, you’ll find a place here where you are welcomed and valued.
There’s something special about a church where generations gather and community still matters—and we’d love for you to be part of it.
